A product page for the German licence-free entry point

The legal information on this page concerns Germany. With a 15 hp combustion outboard, SeaStorm 12 sits at the generally licence-free threshold currently published for most German federal waterways. Local exceptions and all conditions still apply.

Check the motor type, not only the hp label

The current official threshold is 11.03 kW for combustion engines and 7.5 kW continuous output for electric motors. The announced alignment for electric drives was not yet reflected in the law published on 24 July 2026, so verify the current text before operating.

Compact, but not a toy

A licence-free boat remains a powered craft. Weather, current, load, safety equipment and traffic rules matter. The double-wall HDPE construction is robust, but it does not replace seamanship, a suitable lifejacket or a proper handover.

Ready-to-run scope and delivery

The offer is configured with a fitted outboard, steering and the documented equipment. Optional extras, trailer and delivery change the final price. Nautigo confirms the exact scope, handover and delivery arrangement in writing.
